Commissioned to Minister Healing

     

​Jesus Christ commissioned His believers to minister His healing

​

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  John 14:12 KJV

​

Jesus has ordained His believers to minister the works that He is doing - even greater works than those works the people had seen Him do already - which included healing all who came to Him.

​

Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’  Luke 10:9 NLT

​

Jesus commissioned all believers to heal the sick in His name in the work of preaching the gospel of The Kingdom of God.   He gave His believers authority over all the power of the enemy and when we command sickness to get out, we show that Jesus destroys the works of the devil.

​

Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.   And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick. The Lord will raise him up.  James 5:14-15  BSB

 

Healing ministers offer anointed prayer in faith for the restoring of those weakened by sickness.

Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.  Matthew 18:19 CSB

​

Healing ministers agree according to God’s word that He wants the sick to be healed.

​

Hebrews 11:6 … he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

​

Healing ministers believe God heals the sick and support and encourage their faith to seek Him  and receive the reward of healing from Him.

​

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:12 KJV

​

Perhaps the most powerful reason why believers minister healing is that God is Love and we want people to see God’s powerful love in action and come to love Him more.
